The Geneva Literary Aid Society is proud to welcome back
the powerful vocal ensemble, White Raven, for another
Christmas Concert in the picturesque surroundings of the
Lutheran Evangelical Church. Last year’s event was a
sell-out and they are back by popular demand to sing
traditional song from the European tradition led by Irish
soprano Kate Dineen who teaches voice and medieval music at
the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, Switzerland, and is lead
soprano with the Ferrara Ensemble. American Robert Getchell
sings tenor with the Netherlands Chamber Choir, the
American L'Opera Lafayette and has appeared at many
festivals throughout Europe. Baritone, Raitis Grigalis, is
from Latvia and grew up immersed in its rich musical
culture and he has sung at Carnegie Hall.

I had a great evening yesterday at the White Raven event.
Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated the GLAS
Christmas Concert. To judge by the ‘feedback’ from others
nearby, the approval rating in the audience was around
about 100%
I would like to thank you on behalf of my mother and myself
for the very very nice evening yesterday at the church. The
White Raven were absolutely fantastic ! Next year you must
absolutely sing us Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer !
I had a tear in my eye at the end of the show last night.
It was so very beautful! Even if you were to have White
Raven year after year, that would be OK with
me.
